Booking Requirements


Food & Beverage Selection

We will require your menu and package selection at least one month prior to the day of your wedding.

Should the menus contained in our packages not be appropriate for you, we will be very happy to assist you in designing a menu to suit your requirements.



Beverages are charged on a consumption basis and a bar limit can be nominated prior to the event. A pre-paid credit card can also be arranged if preferred. You will be notified when the limit is approaching.

You can select from the standard or premium beverage packages, offering a wide range of both local and imported wines and beers.

Should there be a particular beer or wine that you prefer, which we do not hold in our storage, we will gladly arrange to supply this for you. Cocktails and spirits are also available upon request.

We do not allow BYO Beverages.


Final Guest Numbers

We require that final guest numbers be confirmed and guaranteed no later than 14 days prior to the wedding day. This information will be considered the minimum number of guests to be catered for and subsequently charged for.



All package prices are inclusive of GST.


Confirmation and pre-payment

Confirmation of your booking must be received together with the intial deposit within seven days of the booking being made in order to hold the requested date. An inital deposit of 20% is required upon booking.

Once final numbers have been confirmed 14 days prior to your wedding day, we will invoice you for pre payment of the balance of your selected wedding package.

We require full payment no less than seven days prior to the wedding day. We will also require credit card details for the settlement of any sundry outstanding amounts.



Should you need to cancel your wedding reception at The Mullan House Function Centre between six months and eight days prior to the wedding day, all deposits will be forfeited.

If cancellation occurs within seven days of the wedding, deposits and full pre-payment will be forfeited.
